10-23-95 Statement on Harold Nestor

STATEMENT FROM E. GORDON GEE
ON THE PASSING OF HAROLD NESTOR

	Ohio State University President E. Gordon Gee today (10/23)
released the following statement on the passing of Harold Nestor,
president of Columbus State Community College:

	"Harold Nestor's warmth and wit endeared him to friends 
everywhere, while his administrative skills and quiet leadership 
built Columbus State into one of America's finest community 
colleges.  In creating first class higher education programs for 
the people of Central Ohio, Harold's legacy will be a better life 
for thousands upon thousands of Columbus State alumni and their 
families.  He was an educational leader and a distinguished 
alumnus of Ohio State, but, above all, Harold was an exceptional 
human being.  He will be greatly missed by all of us fortunate 
enough to have known him."
