96-10-01 Gee to Speak on 12th Avenue

                      NEWS ADVISORY:
PRESIDENT GEE TO ISSUE STATEMENT ON CAMPUS AREA DISTURBANCES

     At 1:30 p.m. today (Tuesday, 10/1), E. Gordon Gee, president 
of The Ohio State University, will speak about the university's 
reaction to last Saturday's disturbances on E. 12th Avenue.
Gee will speak outdoors at the intersection of 12th Avenue and 
High Street.  

     Parking is available in the Ohio Union driveway and the Ohio 
Union garage.
