96-10-11 Time Changed for Alvin Reiss Talk

                    NEWS ADVISORY UPDATE:
              TIME OF ALVIN REISS EVENT CHANGED

     The time has been changed for the talk by Alvin Reiss,
author of many publications on the business of the arts who 
recently donated his collection of materials to The Ohio State 
University Fine Arts Library.  Reiss will speak at 5 p.m. today
at Borders Books & Music, 4545 Kenny Road.  The story tips
distributed earlier today gave the wrong time.

     Reiss has donated his collection of books, periodicals,
reports, studies, clippings, tapes and papers that provide a 
chronological view of the development of the arts industry from 
the 1960s to the present to the library.  

     He will speak tonight about his latest book, Don't Just 
Applaud, Send Money! The Most Successful Strategies for Funding 
and Marketing the Arts.
