97-02-14 Lab Test Show Edgerton is Responsible

NEWS ADVISORY:
LAB RESULTS SHOW EDGERTON IS RESPONSIBLE FOR BLANKENSHIP KILLING

	Ohio State University Police Chief Ron Michalec has announced that tests on
blood taken from the apartment of Mark A. Edgerton do show that Edgerton is
the person responsible for killing OSU police officer Michael Blankenship on
Monday.

	Michalec will not hold a news conference, but will talk
individually with reporters in his office this afternoon.  Call
