Doctor of Humane Letters; Ada E. Deer, political activist, 
Doctor of Humanities; and Daniel E. Koshland, scientist, 
Doctor of Science.

DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD:  Wilbur A. Gould, professor 
emeritus of horticulture at The Ohio State University, and 
Susan J. Insley, executive vice president and principal of 
Cochran Public Relations

INVOCATION: Larry VandeCreek, chaplain, Pastoral Care, 
University Hospitals.
