                     NEWS ADVISORY:
      GORDON GEE WILL MEET WITH NEWS MEDIA AT 7 P.M.

     Ohio State University President E. Gordon Gee, who today
(6/27) announced that he is accepting an offer to become the next
president of Brown University, will meet this evening with
members of the news media.  An informal news conference will be
held at 7 p.m. at the Faculty Club, 181 S. Oval Drive.

     University Communications will provide a mult-box and
lighting.  The room will be open from 6 p.m. for those who wish
to set up equipment in advance.
