STATE FAIR COVERAGE IDEAS FROM 4-H--Aug. 11-17. 4-H members are showing trained performing dogs, horticulture knowledge and bicycle safety at the State Fair. The 4-H Dog Drill Team will perform to music in unison at noon in Cooper Arena on Aug. 11, 12 and 13. Horticulture Day is Aug. 16. 4-H members will be judged on their ability to identify seeds, plant products, parts of a flower and components of soil from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the 4-H Center in the Lausche Building. At Bicycle Day on Aug. 17, 4- Hers will compete for honors by navigating a course and displaying their knowledge of bicycle safety from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the 4-H Center. Incontinence, problems for computer users and meditation techniques are subjects of three upcoming Health for Life programs offered by the University Medical Center. Incontinence- -You Are Not Alone is a discussion of bladder and female pelvic disorders and treatments at 7 p.m. Aug. 11 at the Upper Arlington Library, 2800 Tremont Road. Stress Management for Computer Users looks at techniques and exercises for overcoming health problems related to computer use such as eyestrain, headaches, and tingling arms and shoulders at 7 p.m. Aug. 12 at the Westminster Thurber Retirement Community, 717 Neil Ave. Meditation/Affirmation/Visualization includes exercises and techniques to help experience new ways to view the world at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 13 at the Westminster Thurber Retirement Community. The Ohio State University Formula Lightening Team will compete against 10 other universities at the Indy Electric Classic. The race at the .686 mile Indianapolis Raceway Park marks the beginning of the 1997-98 ABB University Spec Series Championship points season. The battery powered car, designed and built by Ohio State engineering students and driven by Craig Taylor, won its last two series championships with the most recent victory at the Cleveland Electric Formula Classic on July 12. The event will be broadcast Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. on ESPN2 as part of the Wednesday Night Thunder program.
