professor emeritus of neurology and psychiatry at the University
of Vienna, Austria; Pancras J. M. Ssebuwufu, chief academic and
administrative officer of Makerere University; R. David Thomas,
senior chair and founder of Wendy’s International Inc.; and
Daniel E. Koshland, professor of biochemistry and molecular
biology at the University of California at Berkeley.

DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD:  Florence Zacks Melton, co-founder
of the R.G. Barry Corp., and posthumously to David L. Meeker,
assistant director and director emeritus of the School of Music
at Ohio State.

INVOCATION:  Alice Herman, chaplain, Pastoral Care, University
