NEWS ADVISORY: STATE SEN. BEN ESPY TO SPEAK ON PUBLIC EDUCATION State Sen. Ben Espy, D-Columbus, will discuss equity within the public schools Wednesday (3/4) from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Edgar Dale Media Center, 260 Ramseyer Hall, 29 W. Woodruff Ave., on The Ohio State University Columbus campus. Espy, minority leader in the Ohio Senate and an Ohio State alumnus, has been influential in shaping legislative solutions to school finance issues resulting from the DeRolph decision. He will meet with Ohio State students, faculty and staff in the fifth of a series of campus forums titled "The Future of Public Education in Ohio." The series is designed to provide an opportunity for students and policy-makers to air and debate public policy issues related to education.
