8-3-98 NEWS ADVISORY: MEDIA TOUR OF NEW FISHER COLLEGE BUILDINGS ON WEDNESDAY Everyone is curious about what the new buildings in the Max M. Fisher College of Business look like inside. Reporters and photographers will get a chance to see for themselves on Wednesday afternoon (8/5) from 1:30-3 p.m., when the college hosts a special media preview of Fisher and Gerlach halls. These two buildings, the first to be completed in the six- building, $120 million complex along Woodruff Avenue, northeast of Ohio Stadium, are set for occupancy this fall by the college's graduate programs and administration. Faculty and staff have just begun moving from Hagerty Hall on the Oval, where undergraduate programs will remain until fall 1999. The schedule for Wednesday's event is: 1:30 p.m. Brief remarks by President William E. Kirwan, Dean Joseph A. Alutto and Professor James L. Ginter. 1:45 p.m. One-on-one interviews with speakers. 2:00 p.m. Guided tour and photo opportunities in the buildings, questions welcomed throughout. Parking spaces have been reserved in the lot beside the ROTC Building at Tuttle Park Place and Woody Hayes Drive -- about one-half block to the west of Fisher Hall, 2100 Neil Ave. (formerly Frambes). Please use your OSU media parking permit for access. Enter Fisher Hall on the north (Neil Avenue) side. The briefing will be in the eighth floor conference room. Staff will be on hand to direct you at the parking lot and the door. # Contacts: Melissa Lamb Peale, Fisher College, 292-8022 Ruth Gerstner, University Communications, 292-8424
