On Friday, Sept. 11, The Ohio State University Oval will be the setting for a special campaign event featuring The Ohio State University Marching Band and cheerleaders, Brutus Buckeye, and a dramatic lighting scenario in which an estimated 1,500 alumni, friends, students, faculty, staff, and other supporters of the university are expected to participate.

The event will include special campaign announcements and an update on the impact of the university's current “Affirm Thy Friendship” campaign by President William E. Kirwan and other leaders of the campaign.
