      BACK-TO-SCHOOL NEWS CONFERENCE TUESDAY, SEPT. 15

	How many students will Ohio State have this fall?  How many 
new freshmen and how do they stack up academically?  What can 
undergraduates expect in the classroom and out?  What’s new in 
housing, financial aid and parking?  When’s move-in?  What’s 
Welcome Week all about?

	Get answers to these and all your other questions about the 
new academic year at The Ohio State University on Tuesday 
morning, Sept. 15, from 10 to 11 a.m.  President William E. 
Kirwan, Vice President David Williams II, and the top 
administrators in charge of undergraduate education, admissions, 
financial aid, transportation and parking, and student activities 
will be there to talk about what’s new and take your questions.  
Student leaders will discuss Welcome Week and other activities.

	The news conference will be held at the Office of Student 
Affairs, 33 W. 11th Ave.  It will begin promptly at 10 a.m. with 
brief remarks by President Kirwan and several others, followed by 
an informal question and answer session.  There will be 
opportunities for one-on-one interviews with all of the 
panelists.

	There is usually parking available on 11th Avenue in front 
of the building.  Or, you may park in the university lots one 
block west on 11th Avenue(display your media parking pass).

	Don’t miss this opportunity to talk to all the best sources 
at one time.  This is the only time many of these busy people 
will be available for interviews before classes start Sept. 23.
