Cancer Institute, a component of the National Institutes of 
Health.

HONORARY DEGREES:  Lee Yung Dug, former prime minister of the 
Republic of Korea; Chung-Hsin Chung, retired professor and 
founder of the Institute of Spartina and Tidal Land Development 
at Nanjing University in China; Eugene P. Odum, professor 
emeritus and director emeritus of the Institute of Ecology at the 
University of Georgia in Athens; and Richard Klausner. 
	
DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD:  Gay B. Hadley, former assistant 
vice president in the Office of Human Resources, and Vern R. 
Cahill, professor emeritus of animal sciences in the College of 
Agriculture -- now Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.
