The U.S. Supreme Court today (6/22) delivered a major ruling on the extent of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The justices ruled 7-2 that the law generally does not protect people with poor eyesight or high blood pressure or other conditions that can be corrected.
Ohio State University Law Professor Ruth Colker is an expert on the ADA. She has studied judicial outcomes of ADA cases and finds that employers, and not workers, usually win. She has been quoted extensively in national publications on the case.
Colker will be available for interviews this afternoon from her office in room 317 Drinko Hall (College of Law), 55 W. 12th Ave.
