OHIO STATE’S CREEPY CAMPUS TOURS AND LARKINS HALL COSTUME BALL ARE SUBSTANCE-FREE HOMECOMING/HALLOWEEN WEEKEND ACTIVITIES

COLUMBUS -- Celebrate Halloween Buckeye-style with Creepy Campus Tours and the Larkins Hall Costume Ball. The Ohio State University Student Wellness Center and the Department of Recreation and Intramural Sports are co-sponsoring the late night events on Saturday (10/30) from 7:30 p.m. to midnight at Larkins Hall, 333 W. 17th Ave.

“The events will give students and alumni the opportunity to celebrate the Homecoming/Halloween weekend in a substance-free environment,” said Stacey Caplea, coordinator for alcohol and other drug abuse prevention programs for the Wellness Center. “It’s sure to be a lot of fun.”

Students and alumni will be able to take guided tours of Ohio State’s haunted buildings from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., see what the future holds through tarot card and palm readings, participate in a costume contest, get caricatures drawn, take Swing and Latino dance lessons, and enjoy great food and alcohol-free beverages. Prizes, including Ohio State apparel and a gift certificate for Sunday brunch from the Fawcett Center, also will be raffled off during the evening’s events.

The Student Wellness Center is an integral component of the Student Health Center and the campus community. The center implements multifaceted approaches to address the health-related needs and concerns of college students through awareness, education and prevention, and is committed to empowering students with the resources and skills to foster healthy lifestyle choices.
