A Partnership for Campus Mobility
Transportation and parking services at the university have always been closely linked. Our parking transition will not change that. While CampusParc is operating our parking services, they are working closely with our new Transportation & Traffic Management organization.
Together, these two organizations form the backbone of our campus mobility infrastructure. These two entities are working hand-in-hand to provide our campus community with a seamless transportation and parking experience.
Both CampusParc and Transportation & Traffic Management are committed to delivering high-quality customer service to Ohio State University students, faculty and staff, and visitors.
Just to be sure everyone understands how both organizations work, here’s a quick overview.
CampusParc is the private business entity that manages our parking system. CampusParc services include:
- Campus parking
- Parking assistance
- Directions and customer service
- Parking facility maintenance
- Management of the permit system
- Parking enforcement
- Motorist assistance
- Special events parking management
You’ll find CampusParc located at 160 Bevis Hall, which should be familiar for parking customers – it’s the same place Transportation & Parking’s customer service office was located. You can also find out more, including email addresses and phone numbers on their website at osu.campusparc.com.
Transportation & Traffic Management (TTM) is an Ohio State University business unit that oversees transit-related services including:
- The Campus Area Bus Service
- On-demand paratransit service
- Charter bus service
- Vehicle rentals
- University fleet services
- Traffic management for events and construction impacts
- Alternate transit (car-share/vanpool/bicycle amenities)
- Crosswalk analysis
- University management of the parking lease
Some of TTM’s services have always been located at 2578 Kenny Road. Later this fall, all their services will be located there or at 2500 Kenny Road, which will be the main customer service office. But for the time being, a few services such as purchase of COTA monthly passes and COTA student-opt-in payments, CABS advertising and payment of parking citations issued by Transportation & Parking Services will be located right next to CampusParc, in 156 Bevis Hall. We’ll make sure you’re notified when this changes. You should also check out TTM’s website at ttm.osu.edu for contact information and all of their latest news.
I hope you will all get to know these two organizations. They may look a little different and have a different organization of duties, but I think you’ll find they offer the same quality services you expect.
