Campus Parking

Because certain campus areas are accessible only to pedestrians, you will need to park your car. Ohio State provides several garage options for visitor parking. Hourly parking rates are posted at the entrance of each pay facility. If an attendant is not on duty, hourly pay customers are required to use the pay machine located at the exit. All garage fees are due upon exit. Credit cards are accepted.

Surface Lot Parking

Single- and multi-day parking permits may be purchased for $3 per day. Most academic and administrative offices on campus have these permits available for their visitors. They are also available at 160 Bevis Hall (West Campus). These permits are valid on surface lots only. Visit the Transportation & Parking Services website for more information.

Meter Parking

Meter parking is located throughout campus for short-term visitor parking, and several parking areas for visitors are located on West Campus off Carmack Road. Popular locations include Drake Performance Center, Lincoln Tower, and Stadium area. Meters are enforced 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Time limits are noted on each meter.

Motorcyle Parking

Motorcycles are permitted to park at a meter as long as the meter fee is paid. Motorcycles are not permitted to park in most of the garages on campus because of parking gate limitiations. However, the two newest garages, Hospitals and Neil Avenue, do have separate motorcycle areas available for parking.

Parking for Disabled Persons

The Ohio State University makes every effort to provide access for all people. If you have any questions or concerns about access for people with disabilities, contact Transportation & Parking Services at 614-292-9341 for assistance.
