50-year commemoration to salute racial progress and the leadership that helped make it possible

The Ohio State University will mark 50 years of change and progress on April 26 – 28, 2018, when the university salutes a body of former students and alumni who struggled for racial parity in an unpopular time and sowed seeds for change that still blossom today.

9:30 a.m. Meet at Longaberger Alumni House

10 a.m. Bus tour of campus with a stop at Bricker Hall to reflect on the 1968 activities before returning to Longaberger Alumni House.

Lunch*
Hosted by The Ohio State University Alumni Association

Noon Join us for lunch and a panel discussion with Office of Diversity and Inclusion Scholars at Longaberger Alumni House.

Storytelling

3 - 5:30 p.m. Record short videos capturing thoughts and feelings of those who were on campus during that time at the Frank W. Hale Black Cultural Center.
