ALS and the search for a cure

Have you heard of Lou Gehrig’s disease, but don’t really understand what it is?

Join us for an informative talk with Dr. Stephen Kolb to learn about the rare neurological condition known as ALS and the critical research being done at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center to combat it. Dr. Kolb is director of the ALS Multidisciplinary Clinic and Research Program and will be joined by his patient, William White, a four-year starter at defensive back for Ohio State (1984-87), who also played 11 seasons in the NFL. William was diagnosed with ALS in 2016 and will be sharing his story and why helping to find a cure is his mission.
