As part of the Ohio State Neurological Institute, the team at the Comprehensive Spine Center is constantly exploring novel approaches for some of the most difficult spine-related medical challenges. Join us to hear from Drs. Tristan Weaver and Jayesh Vallabh about groundbreaking research and clinical trials.
Back pain effects nearly everyone at some point during their lifetime. When back pain affects you, we are here to help. Through a paradigm of progressing from conservative to more advanced procedures and surgery, we aim to restore your ability to golf, play with grandchildren, garden and make the most of your day. We hope to briefly share with you what these treatment options look like as well as share patient stories of success. Finally, we hope to gain your interest in how we believe treating back pain can look in the very near future.

Tristan E. Weaver, MD
Dr. Tristan Weaver is an interventional pain and spine physician in the Department of Anesthesiology. He is the Director of the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Comprehensive Spine Center, director of OSU’s Multidisciplinary Pain Fellowship, clinical co-director for pain management at the Ohio State University Spine Research Institute and director of the department of anesthesiology clinical research lab. Dr. Weaver is board certified in anesthesiology with subspecialty board certification in Pain Medicine. His clinical and research interests involve interventional spine & pain therapies, spine related outcome measures, opioid reduction techniques and neuromodulation.
Jayesh Vallabh, MD
Dr. Jayesh Vallabh is an interventional pain and spine physiatrist for the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is the Associate Director of OSU’s Multidisciplinary Pain Fellowship and works as a committee member for the North American Spine Society. Dr. Vallabh is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with subspecialty board certifications in Pain Medicine and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. His clinical and research interests involve interventional spine & pain therapies, spine related outcome measures and neuromodulation.
