Celebrating 150 Years with Ohio State

A special sesquicentennial celebration!

The Ohio State University is celebrating 150 years of its history, landmarks and traditions during 2020. Join University Archivist Tamar Chute as she discusses the university’s past through the lens of historical photographs of campus, its buildings and its people. Learn more about Ohio State’s founding and the ways in which today’s university reflects the hopes and dreams of its earliest years.

Following the luncheon, attendees are encouraged to join us for a trip to Thompson Library to see University Archive’s newest exhibit, “Time and Change.” Transportation will be provided to and from the Fawcett Center. Upon arrival at Thompson Library, enjoy light refreshments and view photos and artifacts from Ohio State’s history. The trip will require light walking and some standing. For planning purposes, please indicate during registration whether you intend to visit Thompson Library.
