Join the staff of the Lhota Office of Alumni Career Management for our Job Search Drop-in Series for the Class of 2020.

Each session will help you develop a better understanding about the current job market and learn new strategies that will enable you to move forward effectively.

During this series you will:
• Gain insights on how to effectively prepare essential marketing materials, such as your resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile for today’s job market
• Learn how to utilize networking tools, Alumnifire and LinkedIn, to grow your professional network and tap into the opportunities that are part of the “hidden job market”
• Gain insights on best practices for virtual interviewing
• Learn how to negotiate, accept and start a job in the “new normal” career marketplace

• Learn how to tailor your resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile to meet the needs of each prospective employer
• Become familiar with different types of resume and cover letter formats
• Learn how to write effective accomplishment statements on your resume and how to provide specific relevant examples of your accomplishments in your cover letter

• Optimize and engage on LinkedIn to build a positive professional digital brand and grow your network strategically
