Beth Sutton-Ramspeck, Associate Professor Emerita of English
From 2008 until her retirement in 2020, Dr. Sutton-Ramspeck taught an annual Harry Potter course on the Lima campus. She is the author of Harry Potter and Resistance (forthcoming from Routledge press). The author of Raising the Dust: Literary Housekeeping in the Writings of Charlotte Perkins Gilman, Sarah Grand, and Mary Ward (Ohio University Press), and editor of three novels, she has published numerous articles and presented at conferences about Victorian literature and about Harry Potter.
