The role of a tour host is to enhance your experience, serve as a liaison between you and other tour team members, see that what has been promised is delivered, and engage and develop meaningful relationships with you and other Ohio State alumni and friends.
Kym received her master's degree in human resources from Ohio State in 1999. She joined the Alumni Association in 1995 and quickly became our first director of human resources, which is the position she still holds today.
She has served as an Alumni Tour host since 2006. In addition, she actively represents the association by participating in Buckeye Bashes, as well as meeting with and speaking to our alumni clubs all over Ohio and the United States.

Melinda joined the Alumni Association in April 2000. She is the Event Manager for the Alumni House Events Department and helps coordinate hundreds of meetings, each year. Melinda is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in History of Art. Prior to attending Ohio State, she was enlisted for nine years in the United States Navy. While stationed on three ships she was able to travel the world and can say her time in the service was not just a job, it was an adventure. Jacky joined the Alumni Association in September of 2000. She currently is the Director of Conference and Facility Operations, which plans and executes over a combined 1100+ meetings, conferences, and weddings each year. She is also responsible for the maintenance and care of the Longaberger Alumni House. Jacky is a graduate of Otterbein College with a Bachelors degree in English Literature. During her years at Otterbein, Jacky played basketball and belonged to the Sigma Alpha Tau sorority.

Kim has been with the university since 2009, and serves as Senior Director of Special Projects for the Alumni Association. In her role she creates and implements new initiatives that focus on increasing the engagement of alumni, donors, volunteers, and friends to the University.
While not a graduate of Ohio State, Kim enjoys a long history with the university having grown up attending football games in the ‘Shoe and visiting campus with her mother, a long-time employee of Ohio State. Andy Gurd is the Chief Advancement Officer for the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. He is a native of Belfast, Northern Ireland and grew up in Bainbridge, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland.
Andy had numerous leadership roles at the Alumni Association from September, 2007 to September, 2016, including Chief Operating Officer and Interim President. Prior to returning to Ohio State, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a regional IT consulting firm.

Josh is a 2004 graduate of The Ohio State University. After receiving his BA in History, Josh went on to get his Master’s Degree in College Student Personnel at Bowling Green State University. Josh has been with the Alumni Association since 2007 and serves as the Senior Director of Alumni and Constituent Engagement.

Nadine is a two-time graduate of The Ohio State University. After receiving her undergraduate degree and working in a variety of other vocations, Nadine was fortunate to return to Ohio State–more specifically, the OSU Alumni Association. She has been with the Association since 1995. Currently she is the Associate Director of the Office of Volunteer Relations.
Working in the university atmosphere reminded her of how much she enjoyed studying at Ohio State, so in 1999 she entered graduate school and received her master’s degree in clinical counseling in 2001.

Craig earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Ohio State in 1984, majoring in secondary physical education. He joined the Alumni Association in October of 1996 and is currently director of alumni societies. He oversees more than 60 special interest alumni organizations and assists with bowl tour preparations.
Craig is a member of the Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity and served his chapter as president. He was also an active member of Block O, the Interfraternity Council and Sportsmanship Council. Lauren graduated from Ohio State in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, before going on to Bowling Green State University to get her Master’s degree in College Student Personnel. After a few years working at other universities, she was excited to return to work for her Alma Mater in 2014 as Manager of Student Engagement at the Alumni Association. In this role, Lauren oversees all of our student outreach, including over 75 programs, managing our satellite office in the Ohio Union, and advising Homecoming Court and the Student-Alumni Council, the student organization affiliated with the Alumni Association.

Addie graduated from The Ohio State University in 2004 with a degree in Mass Communications and Social Issues. As a student at Ohio State she was involved on campus with the Mount Leadership Scholars program, the John Glenn Washington Academic Internship program and the Undergraduate Student Government.

Tina is a three-time graduate of The Ohio State University with an Associate’s degree in general studies from the Marion campus in 1984, Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminology in 1986, and a Master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs in 1996. Tina went on to earn a Master’s degree in Counselor Education from the University of Dayton in 2008. Debbie graduated from both Ohio University and The Ohio State University. She spent the first 14 years of her career working on behalf of college students, including six years as director of student recruitment for the Alumni Association.

Chad currently serves as Assistant Vice President for The Ohio State University Alumni Association. Abby graduated from The Ohio State University in 2013 with a degree in Hospitality Management.
