In the photographer's words: "Part of my job as a volunteer in Bolivia is to work at the Valley of the Moon Children’s Center. Alexandra, the girl in the photo, is one of the students in my class, and loves getting her picture taken. In this particular picture, she is laughing after trying to scare one of the volunteers during snack time. The center provides care for children from low-income families in the village of Mallasa."

In the photographer's words: "I had seen other elephants in India, but only at roadside stops, decorated with paint and cloth, catering to tourists. Therefore this beast of burden working at dusk on the outskirts of Jaipur was quite a memorable scene. Some friends and I stepped out of the car to watch as this massive animal quietly passed by."

In the photographer's words: "Having been living in Texas for couple of years, I almost forgot how autumn looks like. It was a bit chilling in that morning, and we paid a short visit to the Imperial Garden. At the start I was too lazy to take out my camera, until I saw this lovely couple walking through the Platanus alley. Love is about romantic place, but more about the person with you. I shall return someday with my girl."
