The college prepares the next generation of public health practitioners, health care managers and scholars. Ohio State’s College Public Health aims to achieve the fundamental fairness of a healthy world through global significance and local impact.

The College of Public Health is an integral part of the most comprehensive health sciences campus in the nation. First established in 1995 as part of the College of Medicine, the college was created in February 2007 when the university’s Board of Trustees elevated the school to a college. It is the first and only accredited college of its kind in the state of Ohio. Specializations include biostatistics, epidemiology, health behavior and health promotion, environmental health sciences, health services management and policy, veterinary public health, and clinical investigations.
