Support the John McNaugher Stang Memorial Fund

John M. Stang, MD (1946-2008) served as assistant dean for student counseling and tutoring at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and was the Harry C. and Mary Elizabeth Powelson Professor of Medicine. Trained as a cardiologist, his subsequent career at Ohio State spanned 39 years and impacted thousands of lives. To symbolize the legacy that lives on in his students, a group of them created this award to recognize his special gift for connecting with and encouraging struggling students.

A group of Ohio State Alumni have created a memorial fund to honor the legacy of their beloved mentor. A recipient in the internal medicine program at Ohio State will be awarded a grant to continue his legacy. You can be part of continuing his legacy by making a gift today.
