What is the The Ohio State University Pharmacy Alumni Society Pharmathon 5K?
A 3.1 or 1.0 mile run/walk to promote health, wellness and provide education on prescription drug misuse and prevention. This event was established in 2015 through a collaborative effort amongst the Pharmacy Alumni Society Governing Board and the College of Pharmacy Students. The event is put on with assistance from the Columbus Running Company, a locally-owned running specialty retailer. Funds raised will be used to promote awareness and education on safe medication taking practices through the Pharmacy Alumni Society Governing Board and the College of Pharmacy Generation Rx.

When is the Ohio State Pharmacy Alumni Society Pharmathon 5K?
April 28, 2024 (in-person option) and April 28 - May 4, 2024 (virtual option)

Why sponsor the Ohio State Pharmacy Alumni Society Pharmathon 5K?
The Pharmacy Alumni Society and College of Pharmacy Students are asking for you and/or your company to sponsor the Pharmathon 5K by donating money to support the event and provide college student scholarships. Additionally, it is a way for you and/or your company to help promote health, wellness and awareness about prescription drug use and abuse and an opportunity to advertise your product or service.

How to sponsor the Ohio State Pharmacy Alumni Society Pharmathon 5K?
Select a level of sponsorship: OH-IO, SCARLET, GRAY, BRUTUS or BUCKEYE (described below)

• Complete Sponsor Registration Form and provide payment via one of the following methods:
  Online
• US mail: mail the registration form and payment to the address on the bottom of the form

NEW OH-IO Sponsor: $2,500+

• Tabling opportunity at the event 
• Recognition of your OH-IO level sponsorship at the event  
• Logo on race t-shirt 
• 10 complimentary event entries (please note per IRS guidelines, use of the complimentary entries are valued at $30 per entry as the value of goods/services received) 

SCARLET Level Sponsor: $1000 and above

• Tabling opportunity at the event 
• Recognition of your scarlet level sponsorship at the event 
• Logo on race t-shirt 
• 6 complimentary event entries (please note per IRS guidelines, use of the complimentary entries are valued at $30 per entry as the value of goods/services received) 

GRAY Level Sponsor: $500 - $999

• Recognition of your gray level sponsorship at the event
• Logo on race t-shirt 
• 4 complimentary event entries (please note per IRS guidelines, use of the complimentary entries are valued at $30 per entry as the value of goods/services received) 

BRUTUS Level Sponsor: $250 - $499

• Recognition of your Brutus level sponsorship at the event 
• Logo on race t-shirt 
• 2 complimentary event entries (please note per IRS guidelines, use of the complimentary entries are valued at $30 per entry as the value of goods/services received) 

BUCKEYE Level Sponsor: any amount less than $250

• Recognition of your buckeye level sponsorship at the event   
• Logo on race t-shirt 

Sponsor Registration Form

To sponsor the Ohio State Pharmacy Alumni Society Pharmathon 5K on April 28, 2024 please complete this form and submit electronically to Erin Dickert. Must submit by March 31, 2024 to have your sponsor logo/name included on event t-shirt. Sponsor submissions will gladly be accepted after March 31, 2024 however sponsor logo/name will not be able to be included on event t-shirt. Even if you submit payment online or mail in form, please submit electronic copy to Erin Dickert.
