Robert J. Anthony Fund for Cardiovascular Disease Research
Supports cardiovascular disease research in the Gumina Lab ("Lab") in the Dorothy M. Davis Heart and Lung Research Institute of The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center ("Center"). As such, no funds may be used for faculty salary support. Allowable expenses may include, but are not limited to, equipment, training, graduate student salary support, conferences, publications, or other needs to further the cardiovascular disease research and mentoring conducted in the lab . Should the Lab cease to exist, the fund shall support research in the Center with preference given to cardiovascular disease research. Expenditures shall be approved in accordance with the then current guidelines and procedures established by the Center.

Heit Heart Health Fund

Ross Heart Hospital (or the OSU Heart and Vascular Center). Funding can also be used to support initiatives that focus on the relationship between the effects of cancer treatments and the development of heart disease in women and how exercise can impact health outcomes. The medical research shall be undertaken by the director of Women’s Cardiovascular Medicine (Dr. Martha Gulati or successor) or by the director of the Dorothy M. Davis Heart and Lung Research Institute (Dr. Peter Mohler or successor) or by other heart faculty members in collaborative units.
