  • Knowlton School of Architecture Alumni Society Scholarship Fund

    Established September 23, 2005, with gifts from the Knowlton School of Architecture Alumni Society; used to provide a need-based scholarship to an undergraduate city and regional planning, landscape architecture or architecture student, or a returning graduate student in city and regional planning, landscape architecture, or architecture. Eligible candidates must demonstrate leadership skills and potential to be a future alumni leader. Revised August 31, 2018.

  • Sandusky Perkins-Danbury High School Scholarship Fund

    The fund provides one non-renewable $1,000 scholarship annually (as funding permits), with first preference to an incoming freshman who demonstrates financial need, graduated from Sandusky Perkins High School or Danbury High School, is enrolled in the College of Education and Human Ecology (“College’), attending the Columbus campus and is majoring in Technical Education and Training with a concentration in Business Education Teacher Education (“BETE”). If no students meet the selection criteria above, the scholarship will be awarded according to the following preferences: 1. All criteria stated above, less majoring in Technical Education and Training with a concentration in BETE. 2. All criteria stated above, less majoring in Technical Education and Training with a concentration in BETE, enrolled in the College. 3. All incoming freshman from Erie or Ottawa Counties, Ohio who are enrolled in the College and demonstrate financial need. 4. All incoming freshman from Erie or Ottawa Counties, Ohio who demonstrate financial need.

  • The Marilyn and Donald Harris Scholarship Fund

    Established September 5, 1997, by friends and colleagues in their honor at the time of Dean Harris's retirement. The income from this fund shall be awarded annually to one or more incoming or continuing graduate or undergraduate students who are pursuing studies in music composition. The awards are renewable upon recommendation of the Director of the School of Music. Recipients shall be selected by the Director of the School of Music in consultation with the music composition faculty and the University Committee on Student Financial Aid. In the event no award is made or there are undistributed funds in any given year, the unused income shall be returned to the principal.

  • Velma C. and Paul E. Veith Musical Instrument Fund

    Established September 1, 1999, by Paul E. Veith, through The Foundation. Income supports the purchase and maintenance of musical instruments in the School of Music. Unused income is reinvested to principal.

  • Dr. Paul E. and Anne C. Droste Music Education Scholarship Fund

    Established November 4, 2005, by the Drostes through The Foundation. Distribution provides aid to music education majors who have graduated from a Columbus Public High School. Unused distribution is reinvested to principal. Scholarship recipients will be selected by the head of Music Education as recommended by the director of the School of Music in consultation with the Office of Student Financial Aid.

  • Henry F. and Raymond W. Dachsteiner Music Scholarship Fund

    Established February 1, 2008 with gifts from the estate of Ethelyn Dachsteiner in memory of Henry F. Dachsteiner and Raymond W. Dachsteiner; used to provide scholarship support to undergraduate or graduate students in the School of Music who are majoring in Music.
