Christopher McKnight Nichols PhD
McKnight Nichols is the Wayne Woodrow Hayes Chair in National Security Studies and professor of history at The Ohio State University. An expert in isolationism, internationalism and globalization, he came to Ohio State in 2022 after 10 years at Oregon State University. He is the co-editor of Ideology in U.S. Foreign Relations: New Histories, which won the 2023 International Studies Association Joseph Fletcher Prize for Best Edited Book in Historical International Relations.

Jennifer Mitzen PhD
Mitzen is a professor in the Department of Political Science at The Ohio State University. She is an expert in international relations theory, ontological security, global governance and international history. She also serves as the North America Regional Editor for the European Journal of International Security.
