Col. John R. Knight ROTC Scholarship
 |
This past spring, Colonel John R. Knight, BS '67, made the generous decision to establish a scholarship endowment for the cadets in the Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) program at The Ohio State University.
The Colonel John R. Knight Army ROTC Scholarship Fund will provide tuition and/or room and board sophomores, juniors, or seniors whom will be selected by the Professor of Military Science and his staff each winter. These men and women will be commissioned as the future leadership for the U.S. Army and motivate young people to be better Americans.
Colonel Knight, who was inducted into the Army ROTC Alumni Society Hall of Fame, created this endowment in order benefit hard working cadets, and the ROTC program as a whole. On behalf of every Buckeye and every American who will gain from this act of philanthropy, OAA would like to say thank you.
