Pelotonia 13

July 19, 2013

$49.5 million. That’s what Pelotonia riders have raised since 2009 for innovative cancer research—and each dollar goes directly to research at Ohio State.

To honor a parent, show support for a best friend, or remember the life of a loved one: There are many reasons that thousands of riders have committed to Pelotonia.

After months of hard training and dedicated fundraising, they depart Columbus on August 10 for rides of up to 180 miles.

Each dollar they raise goes directly to research at Ohio State’s James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.

Not planning to hop on a bike? Supporting the riders is easy: Go to Pelotonia to donate to Ohio State's super-peloton, Team Buckeye or search for a specific rider. You can also sign up to be a virtual rider. (Registered Ohio State riders should contact teambuckeye@osumc.edu to join Team Buckeye.)
