ENGIE-Axium background

ENGIE North America and Axium Infrastructure are equity partners in Ohio State Energy Partners. The partnership has contracted with ENGIE Services to operate the systems that heat, cool and distribute power to the university's Columbus campus.

ENGIE is a global company with North American operations that supply electricity to 14 deregulated markets in the United States. In addition to the 250 district heating and cooling energy systems under management globally, ENGIE provides energy procurement, utility, and operations and maintenance services to approximately 150 higher education and health-care facilities. Among its clients is the University of Maryland, where ENGIE runs energy operations that serve 262 buildings and manages upgrades to the steam, electricity and cooling systems.

ENGIE has been named to the two most prestigious Environmental, Social and Governance indices: the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index and the Dow Jones Sustainability Europe Index, established by RobecoSAM. This places ENGIE among the top 10% of sustainability-driven companies in its peer group and recognizes its ongoing efforts with respect to corporate social responsibility.

Axium Infrastructure is an independent infrastructure investment firm dedicated to generating long-term returns through buy-and-hold investments in core infrastructure assets. Axium manages two infrastructure funds totaling over $1.5 billion in assets, as well as $1 billion in managed co-investments.
