"At Ohio State, I have the honor to be involved with a wide variety of organizations: Mount Leadership Society, Buckeye Leadership Fellows, Ohio Union Activities Board, Phi Gamma Delta, Ohio State Marching Band, Honors and Scholars Ambassadors and Major Campus Events Committee. Throughout these organizations, I have grown in more ways than I ever could have imagined. These experiences have inspired me to be myself in every step I take and have allowed me to see that life is much more fun when you follow your passions.

In the next few years, I hope to create a movement focused around the power of data analytics in the day-to-day lives of individuals. As a computational data analytics major, I have really gained a lot of insight into the role that statistics plays in the world around us. I want to lend a hand in revolutionizing the field and changing the way the world thinks about statistics. I know this sounds a bit optimistic and idealistic, but I think there is far more danger in not dreaming big enough than dreaming too big.

All in all, The Richard D. and Ann S. Johnson Leadership Scholarship Fund allowed me to focus on my passions and what makes me happy. I am thankful to benefit from scholarship support on my way to changing the world. I am truly appreciative."
