Ohio residents age 60 or older are invited to take courses and connect with The Ohio State University community through this tuition-free program.
How to Participate: Follow These Steps
Important Information - Autumn 2024 registration begins on July 16, 2024
You can send questions by email to the Program 60 coordinator. We do not accept drop-in appointments, so please do not go to Mount Hall without a previously scheduled appointment. If you need an appointment, you may call the front desk at 614-292-8860. Let them know you are a Program 60 participant. We offer phone and zoom appointments at this time. If you need an in-person appointment, send an email to Program 60 with the request.
Summer 2024 Important Dates
- Summer 2024 Registration to be in the program begins March 26, 2024, and ends at 12pm, April 17, 2024.
- Summer 2024 enrollment in courses starts April 16, 2024, and ends at 3pm, May 17, 2024.
Autumn 2024 Important Dates
- Autumn 2024 Registration to be in the program begins July 16, 2024, and ends at 12pm, August 16, 2024.
- Autumn 2024 enrollment in courses starts July 30, 2024, and ends at 3pm, August 30, 2024.
Summer 2024 Webinars (Please Register)
- Information Session Monday, March 25th from 10am to 12pm
- Explains how to complete steps 2 and steps 3 of the Program 60 getting started process.

- Orientation Wednesday, April 10th from 10am-12pm
- Review steps 4,5, 6 and 7 of the Program 60 enrollment process as well as how to navigate OSU technology platforms, outline expectations, etc.

- Campus Resource Webinar is hosted once a year and has representatives from around campus who talk about different resources available to participants on and off campus. Watch the recorded session here. Visit our Participant Resources tab for a list of resources.

Program 60 participants are required to follow the same university rules and regulations as credit-earning students. Please review the Code of Student Conduct to be aware of the policies and expectations of our Buckeye Community.
