A national leader

A new report has identified Ohio State as one of the top-five schools nationally for improving its overall graduation rates.

The university earned the distinction as a part of The Education Trust’s recent examination of both overall graduation rates and the graduation rates of underrepresented minority students. Ohio State was recognized for improving its graduation rates for underrepresented students as well.

“These findings underscore our institutional commitment to inclusive excellence,” said President Michael V. Drake.

The improving rates are indicative of broader efforts Ohio State is making to improve college access and ensure student success. The efforts support Drake’s 2020 Vision for the university that includes increasing access, affordability and excellence.
