The Josephs honor a loved one, support a cadet

Dr. Robert Joseph on far left, and Ms. Linda Joseph on far right

Bob and Linda Joseph are active alumni, volunteering their time to be a part of the Alpha Zeta Partners leadership program, the 4-H Foundation Board and the Army ROTC Alumni Society.

"We think these groups continue to make a difference in the lives of students and alumni," they said.

However, Bob and Linda have began to make an even bigger and more personal difference in the life of one student a year via The Adrienne C. Nowels Scarlet & Gray Spirit Award and Scholarship.

Adrienne is the daughter of the Josephs' late family friend, Lieutenant Colonel Keith Nowels. At a young age, she overcame cancer and went on to become an Ohio State and Army ROTC alumna.

"We want to reduce the financial burden of a deserving cadet and student who exemplifies Adrienne's spirit," they said.

The Josephs credit others' generosity for putting themselves through college and on the path for successful careers.

"We hope this annual gift encourages others to pay forward, as well," they said.
