A step toward affordability
|
With higher education costs on the rise around the nation, Ohio State is taking a different approach.
President Michael V. Drake has proposed a freeze on in-state tuition, mandatory fees, housing, dining and all program, course and learning technology fees for undergraduates who attend all Ohio State campuses. If approved by Ohio State’s Board of Trustees next Friday, this would mark the first time in 40 years that the institution has frozen these costs.
The proposal falls in line with Drake’s commitment to affordability, a goal he outlined as a part of his 2020 Vision. This is just one of many steps being taken around Ohio State as the university embarks on a five-year plan of inclusive excellence.
