Ohio State President Walter “Ted” Carter Jr. highlighted the longstanding partnership between Ohio State and Green Circle Growers when he visited the business during his tour of northeast Ohio.

Caitlin O’Brien's lifelong passion for space led her to study astronomy, astrophysics and physics at Ohio State. With help from the President's Buckeye Accelerator, the 2023 graduate now leads Solstice Outreach, a program that uses immersive planetarium shows to reach kids with limited access to STEM experiences.

For almost two years, Avani Pham ’26 has been a friendly and supportive figure for a new American family as they adjust to life in Columbus. Her work with Community Connectors at Ohio State has taught her much about the value of involvement, mentorship and friendship.

Volunteers from across South Bass Island — Ohio State extension educators, students and faculty, island residents, high school students and teachers and restaurant owners and staff — worked together in numerous beach and shoreline cleanups. Those volunteers restored over 60 acres of land, removing nearly 600 pounds of trash.
