In one sentence, tell us what makes your company different from your competition.
The Berwick is a family owned and operated business that specializes in homemade Italian goodness and provides quality service for all of your catering needs.

What is your chef’s favorite dish on the menu and why?
"Our homemade lasagna is my favorite Italian dish. Our noodles are made from scratch and then layered with our homemade tomato sauce, fresh grated romano cheese, mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese and ground beef with rosemary. It is a recipe that has been passed down through all three generations of family members and is something that I have enjoyed since I was a kid growing up in the business. It is truly homemade Italian goodness!"
Orlando Susi - Executive Chef/Vice President

If your company could caterer for any celebrity, who would it be and why?
If we could cater any celebrity, at the top of our list would be Luciano Pavarotti. He is a famous Italian singer who Maria Susi (founder of The Berwick) grew up listening to in Italy. We would enjoy serving a group of his family and friends to our homemade Italian food and great wine.

Yes is the answer, what is the question... whatever the occasion, whatever the size, whatever the request, we’ll make your vision a reality!

What is your chef’s favorite dish on the menu and why?
"At Cameron Mitchell Premier Events we don’t like to play favorites. Our menu items are unique and often customized to the specific client and event. BUT… If we were to pick, our Executive Chef Jay Ingram recommends the Ohio sweet corn cannelloni. Not only is it a fan favorite, but it’s also an extremely versatile dish. Whether you are in need of a savory vegetarian option or the perfect complement to a protein duet plate, our Ohio sweet corn cannelloni is the perfect choice. Made with fresh egg pasta, whipped ricotta, thyme and parsley. Garnished with shaved fennel, sautéed radicchio, and finished with a sweet corn emulsion and balsamic reduction. It is perfect for a high-end soiree or a family style dinner. "

If your company could caterer for any celebrity, who would it be and why?
Cameron Mitchell Premier Events is no stranger to star studded affairs. Our path has crossed with some of the greatest minds, athletes, and political figures of our lifetime and the list continues to grow. Our hot catering bar options allow the client to customize their food choice to the participants for their event. Attendees can make the bar their own by varying the type of meat offering, salsa choice; make fresh tacos or “Go Naked” by preparing their burrito or salad without a tortilla all from the same basic hot bar set up.

What is your chef’s favorite dish on the menu and why?
Qdoba offers a signature 3 cheese queso that you will make you think it is a food group all to itself. As part of The Ohio State University, University Catering is vested in the success of our guests’ events at Ohio State like no other – conveniently located on campus, our resources and seasoned team and student servers can quickly accommodate last minute changes or additional guests with ease.

What is your chef’s favorite dish on the menu and why?
Our chef’s favorite dish on the catering menu is the Boneless Braised Beef Short Ribs on Creamy Polenta, Roasted Asparagus and Rosemary Demi-Glace. University Catering Executive Chef, Roger Garland says, “This is a dish of patience to achieve perfection. Though there are not a lot of ingredients involved in the preparation of braised short ribs and dark rich demi, this shows the skills of the chefs. When done properly, the creaminess of the polenta matched with the rich demi, tender meat, and earthiness of the asparagus makes the perfect dish.”

If your company could caterer for an celebrity, who would it be and why?
Based on the extraordinary student and university events we have been a part of, University Catering has fortunately been able to cater for numerous political figures including both past and present Presidents, astronauts, Olympic medalists, concert headliners, musicians, noteworthy authors, and cast members of popular television shows such as Glee and Saturday Night Live. A future celebrity? Gordon Ramsey would be our choice – we feel we are absolutely ready for his level of culinary scrutiny! Or any of the Food Network stars would be just great too!
