Student iPads

iPads are a critical tool in helping students with online and in-person classes. This year, the Digital Flagship team will distribute nearly 13,000 iPads to Ohio State students, a process that began in 2018. Over 70% of all undergrad students will have them to start the school year.

This year, first-year students who choose online learning and regional first-year or eligible transfer students will have iPads mailed to their homes. First-year or transfer students who will be on the Columbus campus will sign up for a time to pick up their iPads at St. John Arena.

“We’re very fortunate we started something like this at Ohio State for this exact time and place,” said Cory Tressler, director of Learning Programs and Digital Flagship. “And we know the iPads are having a big impact. That’s why we’ve worked so hard to get them to our students in a safe and efficient way this year.”
