Summer Reading Bingo Challenge for teens and adults

Program description
Reward yourself for reading this summer.
By completing this challenge, you can earn a raffle entry for each completed bingo line (diagonal, horizontal, and vertical). At the end of the summer, at least 150 names will be drawn to receive an exclusive Ohio State prize of their choice!
This program is intended for adults or teens with at least a high school reading level. Do you know a younger child who wants to participate? Check out Brutus’ Summer Reading Challenge for kids!
Cost
This program is FREE and open to any teen or adult.
To receive a printed bingo board and stickers in the mail, register as soon as possible, because supplies are limited. All other registrants will receive a digital bingo board.
Registration for the digital bingo board is available through June 26, 2024.

FAQs
Participants will receive an exclusive bingo board with various book genres and descriptors. Once you have finished reading a book, you can mark off up to two squares on your board. Each completed line (horizontal, vertical, and diagonal) will earn one raffle entry.
The reading challenge starts on June 1, 2024, and ends on August 31, 2024.
You may pick up to two categories/squares per book. For instance, if you read Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison, you could mark off “A ‘classic’” and “National Book Award winner”.
Anyone (e.g. alumni, faculty, staff, friends) is welcome to participate! This challenge is designed for adults or teens with at least a high school reading level.
The Ohio State Alumni Book Club is a free, virtual book club. It was started in 2018 to help alumni and friends connect and discuss books on a virtual platform. It is managed by Professional Book Club (PBC) Guru. The Ohio State Alumni Book Club reads one book every two months. Learn more or join here!
You can submit your board electronically or via mail. More information will be sent to registrants.
We encourage you to join our Facebook page to connect with other participants and share book recommendations and tips! We’ll also post reminders about submitting your board.
You will earn one additional entry for each friend you refer (maximum of five) and one entry for sharing our post about the reading challenge on your Instagram story or Facebook page. Be sure to tag us on Instagram @theohiostatealumni, Facebook at The Ohio State University Alumni Association or use #BuckeyeForLife.
Winners will be able to choose from a selection of Ohio State prizes, including reading items, blankets, apparel, pint glasses and more!
