Event Description
Join the Alumni Club of Summit County in an opportunity to give back to your community by volunteering at the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank Main Campus.

To register, please email summitcoclub@osu.edu.
If this is your first time volunteering, or it's been more than three years since you've volunteered with us, please also complete an Adult Volunteer or Youth Volunteer application (ages 10-15).
Schedule & Parking
Your volunteer time is set for Wednesday, April 9 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at the Akron facility, located at 350 Opportunity Parkway, Akron, near Downtown Akron.
Parking is available in our Shipping/Receiving lot. You can enter through the front entrance off Opportunity Parkway or the RED building door to reach the lobby. Please carpool if possible!
What to wear
- Comfortable shoes - please note that open-toed shoes are not permitted in the warehouse
- Layers, as the warehouse temperature fluctuates with the weather
- Avoid long jewelry
Safety guidelines
- Cell phone use is not permitted in the warehouse and pantry areas
- No backpacks, fanny packs or purses are allowed (items for medical needs are permitted)
- Clear water bottles only
- No headphones or earbuds
