Job Search
1. Alumni Career Connection
This is the Ohio State alumni job board for all alumni job seekers and employers to post current job opportunities.
2. Handshake
A job board for current students, new professionals and employers to post internships and entry level positions.
3. Job Club
View recordings of four essential topics: resumes, networking, interviewing and salary negotiation. Guest speakers also offer professional development sessions.
4. Career Fairs
Through Ohio State’s partnership with Hire Talent, Buckeyes are welcome to participate in career fairs around the country. Recent graduates may also participate in their college career fairs.

6. Recorded Webinars
Our library of webinars entails job search and professional development topics for your career enhancement. Learn about topics such as managing up, getting the best from your team, career moves after the military, work/life balance, infusing DEI in the workplace and more.

This online tool displays international and domestic job boards as well as advice on how to interview abroad.
8. Versatile PhD
This is an effective tool and online community for graduate students. It includes a job board, webinars, and discussion boards that share success stories outside of academe.

Our definitive online community where members offer networking, mentoring, hiring and opportunities to connect based on specific interests and experiences through Ohio State.
10. Clubs and Societies
This is a great way to meet fellow alumni based on geographic region, college or affinity group.
11. LinkedIn Alumni page
LinkedIn has organized Ohio State alumni by industry, city, organization and area of study. This is a great database for identifying potential networking contacts.
12. The Ohio State University Buckeye Network
This is the official Buckeye networking LinkedIn group where alumni, students, faculty and staff are invited to join and connect.

This resource details the typical industries, career areas, and employers associated with each major and covers strategies aimed at making you a more marketable candidate.

This condensed version of the Strong Interest Inventory (SII) leads you to research on ONET that aligns with your results.
15. Career Corner
Where you can study career roadmaps, read about the career paths of fellow alumni, listen to relevant podcasts, and find more resources.

17. Recent graduate career advising appointments
Each college career services office allows recent graduates to make appointments and attend career fairs within one semester or one year after graduation. Check with your college career services website to see what services are available to you.
18. Coaching Referral Program
If you are seeking individual coaching services, the alumni association has partnered with a select group of talented Buckeyes who own coaching businesses in career, executive, leadership, and life coaching.
