Time to show off your pet’s paw-some Halloween costume!
Event description
Is your pet ready to celebrate Halloween in style? Your four-legged family member’s costume could win a paw-some prize: a custom portrait of your furry companion by professional artist Pam Spremulli!
How to enter
- Dress up your pet! Choose a costume that fits one of our categories – spooktacular classics, best Buckeye, best ensemble or most original.
- Snap a photo of your pet in their best get-up. Submit your entry.
- Choose one category to submit your favorite photo via our contest submission form by noon ET on October 24.
Categories
- Spooktacular classics: Embrace the spooky season with classic costumes like pumpkins, scarecrows, superheroes, princesses and more.
- Best Buckeye: Show off your Ohio State spirit with the best Buckeye- themed costume.
- Best ensemble: Get creative with group costumes — this can include pets with their owners, multiple pets together or a mix of humans and pets.
- Most original: For the unique and one-of-a-kind costumes that stand out from the rest.
Voting and prizes
Voting will take place on October 27–30, when Buckeyes can cast their votes for the best costumes. Winners will be announced on October 31, just in time for the Halloween festivities!
Winners in each category and one lucky, random entry will all receive: A one-of-a-kind, custom portrait of your pet created by artist Pam Spremulli!
