Buckeye Beverage & Bites Tour

Taste your way through each stop on our new culinary adventure!

Program description

Our Central Ohio Buckeye community isn’t just an academic powerhouse—it’s home to countless local businesses owned and operated by proud Ohio State alumni, as well as beloved campus staples that have endured as the seasons pass.

In recognition of that, the alumni association is proud to celebrate these alumni with the Buckeye Beverage & Bites Tour. From morning coffee to an afternoon pint or delicious bite, every stop is a chance to support a fellow Buckeye and satisfy your culinary cravings.

How it works

Join the tour! The tour is free to join, but any food or drink purchased along the way will be at your expense.

Once you provide your information for signup, you can check your email to confirm your signup for the pass. Once you return to the pass, click "View" under the Buckeye Beverage & Bites Tour to check out available stops!

Upon arrival, check in virtually at each location to learn more about these businesses and their connection to Ohio State (no app download needed). The more stops you make, the more prizes you earn!

Prizes

As you make your way through the tour, you’ll unlock fun rewards based on the number of check-ins you complete. After your first stop, you’ll receive an exclusive set of Buckeye Beverage & Bites Tour stickers, mailed straight to the address you provided during registration.

  • 3 unique check-ins: Score a magnetic bamboo bottle opener (pickup required)
  • 7 unique check-ins: Earn a commemorative pint glass (pickup required)

Prizes are expected to be available beginning in June. Prizes can be picked up at Longaberger Alumni House (2200 Olentangy River Road, Columbus), Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The location is closed on University holidays—just bring your phone as proof of completion. Limit one prize per person, while supplies last.

Bonus: Every check-in also earns you an entry for a chance to win a signature Ohio State YETI. Winners will be drawn in November 2026 and contacted via email.
