Take Brutus on your adventures this summer!

Brutus is officially on the road. Help the Buckeye community get him to all 50 states, 120 countries and at least 5 continents from Memorial Day to Labor Day! Check back weekly to track his journey.

Take Brutus along on your travels, to your favorite local hangouts, or wherever the road takes you. Let's help Brutus visit all 50 states, 120 countries and at least 5 continents together!

How to join the fun:

  1. Don't have your own Brutus yet?
    1. A print-on-your-own version is available to download.
  2. Snap a photo with Brutus on your travels.
  3. Scan the QR code on Brutus or use the link to upload your adventure photos.
  4. Check back every Friday from Memorial Day to Labor Day to see featured submissions and track Brutus' journey around the globe!

Tips for capturing Brutus' adventures

Want to make sure Brutus looks his best in every photo? Here are some tips to help you capture the perfect picture.

  1. Lighting is Key: Natural light makes a huge difference! If possible, take your photos outdoors during the day, avoiding harsh midday sunlight.  
  2. Backgrounds Matter: Choose interesting backgrounds that help tell Brutus' story. Think landmarks, unique landscapes, or fun settings that complement your travels.  
  3. Safety First: If you're taking a photo in a busy or risky environment, make sure you're safe! Always pay attention to your surroundings.
  4. Focus on Brutus: While Brutus is on his grand adventure, make sure he's the star of the photo! Keep him in focus, and make sure he’s not getting lost in the background.  

Get Creative: Have fun with your photos! Try different angles—above, below, or even from Brutus’ perspective! The more creative, the better!
