Join us for a special author talk with Chuck Hutchison, former Buckeye and NFL player, as he shares insights from his memoir "Getting My Hands Dirty". Tracing a journey of commitment, challenge, and growth, a former professional football player reflects on his time at Ohio State under the tutelage of Coach Woody Hayes, his years in the NFL and USFL, and his unexpected decision to become an expert gardener.
A proud Buckeye and standout offensive guard, he earned First-Team All-Big Ten honors in 1969 while playing for Ohio State. He went on to a six-season career in the NFL with the St. Louis Cardinals and Cleveland Browns, and later coached in both the CFL and USFL. His grit and leadership on the field reflect the enduring Buckeye spirit.
