Lantern Festival at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium

Event description

Return to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium to marvel at the bright lights of the Lantern Festival! This year’s event features over 70 unique, life-sized lanterns to light up your evening. In addition to rides and entertainment within the Zoo, your ticket includes a themed giveaway, a treat and special Buckeye surprises during check-in.

Cost

Ticket cost includes full access to the Zoo and Lantern Festival activities, as well as parking and Ohio State surprises.

Please note, the Lantern Festival is an additional cost to any attendee during its entire run, even for Columbus Zoo members. Our offered rate reflects a discount on tickets for Lantern Festival entry for both Zoo members and non-members.

Additional food items will be available for purchase throughout the event.

Schedule of events

Guests will get access to the Lantern Festival at the scheduled time of 7:30 pm. There is no gathering in the Zoo events space as there has been in previous years. Please check in between 7:30–8:30 p.m. at the alumni association area outside the Zoo.
